Nadine Robbins

Nadine Robbins (b. 1966) is a French-American hyperrealist artist known for her meticulous figurative paintings. Listed in Buzzfeed’s “Top 100 Figurative Painters Working Right Now” (2017, 2018), her work is represented in prestigious collections including the Howard A. & Judith Tullman Collection (Chicago), Count-Ibex Collection (Germany), and the MEAM museum in Barcelona.
After earning a BFA in graphic design from SUNY New Paltz, Robbins ran an award-winning design boutique for twenty years, developing brand identities for Fortune 500 clients including Citibank, Canon, and Shell. She transitioned to fine art in 2008, debuting with a series of large-scale couple portraits that earned exhibitions at the Royal Portrait Society in London (2010, 2011).
Her paintings have been featured at The Rockwell Museum (Smithsonian affiliate), Wausau Museum of Art, and were selected for NASA’s Artemis Lunar Codex missions (2023). Recent work includes portraits of influential figures like photorealism pioneer Audrey Flack, exhibited at Art Miami 2023, and Juma Sultan, the legendary percussionist for Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock.
Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Robbins creates hyperrealistic figurative paintings that synthesize her love for photography and design with meticulous attention to subtle details and storytelling.
