Fabio Alonso Castrillón Castro

Fabio holds a degree in Plastic Arts from the University of Antioquia, Colombia, and brings 26 years of experience as a practicing artist. His work has been featured in numerous collective and solo exhibitions on local, national, and international stages. He has also participated in notable printmaking exchanges, including “The World International Print Exchange” and “Travelling Exhibition,” showcased in cities such as South Dakota, Washington, North Carolina, California, and Manizales.

Currently based in Medellín, Fabio teaches visual arts while developing his individual project, An Encounter with Subjectivity. This series of portraits and self-portraits in oil on canvas explores human emotions, offering a reflective take on the importance of mental health in contemporary society.
